Tile Layer
MNP Enterprises | Chicago, IL | Full-Time | On-Site | $25–$30 gross per hour
MNP Enterprises is seeking a skilled Tile Layer to deliver precise, high-quality tile installations across a range of commercial and residential project sites in the Chicago area.
Responsibilities
- Install, cut, and fit ceramic, marble, and stone tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces to meet project specifications and finish standards.
- Assess and prepare substrates prior to installation, ensuring surfaces are level, clean, and structurally sound.
- Inspect completed work for alignment, grout consistency, and durability, and perform repairs where required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a professional tile setter, with a strong working knowledge of installation methods and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and job-site instructions accurately.
- Physical capability to perform on-site work, including lifting, kneeling, and sustained manual labor throughout a full shift.
